The “Dirt Bro” Elite Infield Academy is nothing short of a comprehensive infield play experience. It is a camp, if you will, that actually delivers! A player’s two full days with veteran Infield coach, Trent Mongero and his son, who is a 4 year Division 1 – starting shortstop, will be filled with learning, implementing, and improving the key physical and mental tools that will allow a player to catapult their infield play to next level and beyond. This camp is for serious baseball players only and space is limited. This academy is NOT about hundreds of fungos. It is, however, about growth, development and positive change that can significantly transform in-game performance.

Each camper is encouraged to bring his or her own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, cleats, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, helmet, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear. We recommend bringing sunscreen during the summer. We also advise youth campers to wear proper baseball attire but it is not necessary to participate in camp.
Seahawk Baseball at this time doesn’t offer overnight camps. Accommodations should be made in advance for any participants coming to camp from outside the Wilmington, NC area.
Our camps welcome all participants ages 6-13, regardless of skill level. Registration is on a first come, first served basis as long as the registrant is within the specified range of ages.
We have plans in place for all of our camps to run whether rain or shine. We will communicate any changes made to camp through the email provided during registration if the weather forecast looks like it will prevent us from being on the field. Players should bring appropriate footwear for any indoor activities i.e. sneakers or turf shoes.
We highly recommended that you clearly mark all equipment your child brings to camp. Any items that are left behind will be kept for 1 week following the last day of camp before being donated to the local parks and recreation. Seahawk Baseball Academy and its coaching staff takes no responsibility for any items that are lost or stolen. In the event your child leaves equipment please email our staff.
According to NCAA rules and regulations, all camps and clinics are open to any and all entrants regardless of skill/level (limited only by number, age, grade level, and/or gender.)
